In my personal design practices, "Textile Innovation" can be considered as a mixture of traditional and modern handcrafted techniques using a correct disposal and recycling of textiles, garments and any object. We work with traditional Colombian handcrafted techniques such as, "Hamaca weaving", "Fique knitting", embroidery, knot tying, dyeing, etc, all with recycled fabrics and fibers.
All of these creative surfaces embellishes and decorates the human body as wearable objects, helping us look attractive, identified and unique due to the vividness and contrasting colors used within the designs.
